GENDER ADVENTURE 2 : Gender Identity Adventure

I met up with a group friends recently whom consistently dressed punk. Immediately began asking them questions about their individual gender identities. What I was able to establish about punks was a lot to do with attire. Black clothing along with jeans and jean jackets with rips. Paisley bandana 's seemed popular. Tighter fitting pants or jeans also seemed popular. Eye liner was seen as “badass” and sometimes made them feel more masculine rather than girly. Most my friends with punk like personality and appearances are extremely loud and out going and don't care what anybody thinks. This was my basis for my new gender identity.

My usual gender identity would depict a rather athletic masculine guy with a metrosexual sense of fashion. I have the tenancy to dress athletic and preppy with a twist of skater beach boy. I'll style my hair whether it's long or short and only tend to wear hats if I'm in a rush and don't have time, which happens about fifty percent of the time. I'd say I show my masculinity in many different aspects of my life. I have always been involved in many many sports and always will. Hockey is my number one sport and one that if played at any sort of professional level becomes extremely violent and physical. It is largest sport in which your actually allowed to fight with bear knuckles and not get sent to jail, instead they put you in time out for five minutes. I'm not easily scarred away. I'm usually referred to as the exterminator in the house. I try the be the gentleman's gentleman wherever possible. By this is mean simply being polite, opening the doors for others and generally following the code that ladies go first and that males should never physically hurt a women. My feminine side is generally that I am a fairly emotional guy and I definitely listen to my emotions. I am not afraid to cry. I have a metrosexual...
