Nowadays, the current trends’ in education features no longer on the cognitive aspect but holistic in general like considering the multiple intelligences, learning styles, study habits and other aspects. Many years past our education system make efforts to improve instruction but in spite of these efforts, students’ achievement in Science and Mathematics remained low.

Mathematics is defined by some researches to be a difficult subject to understand, requires a great deal of abstraction, analysis, and reflective thinking, can be found and experienced everywhere. It should infer to the students the significance of Mathematics in their everyday life.

Students nowadays are very much exposing in different activities, very active, and their curiosity in life is very high. The teaching methods used must suitable to the learning styles of the learners. If the teaching method used is mismatches between the learning styles of the learners, they learners may become bored and inattentive in class, do poorly on tests, and get discouraged about the courses, the curriculum, and themselves. In some cases change to other curricula or drop out of the school. Likewise teachers were confronted by low test grades, poor attendance and drop outs. To overcome these problems, teachers should strive for a balance of instructional methods that must suitable to the learning style of the learners.

Learning a skill must begin with a meaningful situation. It’s important therefore that students learn to make a mental picture of the situations described in problems before attempting to solve them.

However, thinking skills, learning styles and the emotional intelligence take part in knowing things. These should be considered to male proper methods to deliver goods to the students. This gives an overview to teachers what to do in a classroom with students of different thinking skill, learning styles, and emotional intelligence.
