Council Tax Reductions for Full Time Students I understand that someone in your household is a full time student and should be disregarded for the purposes of the Council Tax bill. Please supply the information requested on the attached form so that I can deal with this claim for a discount/exemption. Please remember to sign the declaration provided. Full time students are defined as those attending a course of study: at a university or college course, lasting at least one academic year; requiring attendance for at least 24 weeks in that academic year; involving at least 21 hours of study per week during term-time, whilst in attendance of the course.

Any student fulfilling the above criteria should supply evidence of the relevant course in the form of a certificate from their college. PLEASE SEND A PHOTOCOPY OF YOUR CERTIFICATE AS AN ORIGINAL WILL NOT BE RETURNED TO YOU.
