Being a doctor, people expect many great things from you since their lives are in your hands. For me, to be a good doctor, you have to love being one. Loving your job, no matter how complicated it gets, won’t make you lose sight on why you chose this profession in the first place. Performing your work with excellence and to always be available when your service is needed is important. One has to be enthusiastic in learning new things about advancement in medicine and technology in order to apply them in practice. He must be focused on the welfare of every patient and building good connection with other people.

The doctors I’ve met so far, are respectable, in the way they perform their job with ease and bring themselves confidently. The doctor I’ve worked under a few months ago is very knowledgeable and active in seminars in order to learn something new that she can use in her practice. She builds good relationship with other professionals that she gets referrals from other doctors. She treats her patients well in her clinic that some of them told me they have been under her care for many years already. She’s also considerate to her employees. When the situation gets too complicated regarding a patient, she decides what will be the course of action to take that is for the best and acceptable for their condition. I can say that she’s really admirable as a doctor.

I believe that every one has the potential to be a good doctor. I chose this profession because this is what I’ve always envisioned myself to be. I planned to excel in my chosen specialization. Lastly, I want to help not just other people, but to also serve my family.
