Motivation and Achievement

This scale is pretty accurate. The score that was given was about right on how I am. My motivation isn’t always the highest but it also isn’t the lowest. I feel like I am right in the middle which is where the scale put me. The only way that I could think of to make an improvement would be to add more questions which would make it more accurate by asking more about the person taking the questionnaire. If there were more questions about somebody’s motivation or them way that they earn achievements, the score would be higher with more questions and that would give out a more accurate score.

There is a need in everybody to strive for an achievement. The need that people have is to feel good about themselves through achievements. They acquire the motivation to help them pursue goals and different achievements. By achieving goals, people start to feel better about themselves which would help them further achieve goals and earn higher achievements. By having this need to succeed in their everyday lives and in their career, then it helps them better themselves. By making themselves a better person then they would be able to satisfy more needs and stay motivated. Staying motivated is one of the most important things that people can do for their lives.

Motivation is a person’s drive to achieve their personal goals. My intrinsic motivation is a lot higher now while I am attending college than when I was in high school. I believe it to be a lot higher now is because I am attending college for what I want to learn about and not general studies during high school. I did have some intrinsic motivation during high school with the different electives that were offered for example computer courses and cooking classes. While I’m in college most of the classes that I am taking are tailored to what I want to do in the future. Not all the classes that I have aren’t very interesting but I know that they are good for me and for my degree. There are...
