Communication and Collaboration Strategy

After completing the Learning Assessment and Personality Spectrum Assessment, I believe that the assessments map my personality; the diagram showed I have moderately developed learning abilities in all categories. Developing my Naturalistic ability will be something I will look into however; I do disqualify my vacation time as a question since I have never had one. I have however lived in the “rough” while in training or in country during my tenure of service in the military.

I have always considered myself a visual learner and able to quickly pick things up and my visual/spatial learning assessment is where I felt it would be also verbal/linguistic, both interpersonal and intrapersonal traits are strong in my assessment. My first learning skill that I can develop is my visual skills I often rely on technology and simple diagrams to instruct others on projects to ensure that everyone is on the same page and understands the problems and potential solutions that I, as a manager and team leader am trying to accomplish. As a student I feel I can study and accomplish my goals in a very similar fashion.

Development of my verbal/linguistic abilities into a learning setting, my best strategy will be to use my writing skills and my adept use of the English language while I write. I also like to repeat what I write out loud rather than have someone read over my writing. I find I can gather my thought easier this way.

My interpersonal and intrapersonal skills I believe are very well developed by my years in sales and many business relationships I have cultured. I can see easy strategy here knowing what; one I’m capable of getting accomplished and two; how to use the skills of others around me to enhance my own knowledge.
