Spiritual warfare is a concept in which individuals take a stand and fight for their lives against evil forces. When fighting spiritual warfare’s we are trying to repel these evil forces away from us. As Christians, we are constantly in a spiritual warfare because we are Gods people, and the devil is opposed of God (Earley & Wheeler , 2010).  The devil knows that God loves His people, and the devil would do anything to interfere with Gods possessions. The role of spiritual warfare is to overcome each challenge that is faced in everyday life by using your faith in God. While experiencing bumps in the road in our lives, we must keep strong, effective faith in God. Evangelism to individuals who are lost, or are in need of help is a way to spread the gospel of Christ. The gospel is a light to Christ, and it is becomes effective when we spread it, believe it, and encourages it! The role of spiritual warfare relates to the process of evangelism because it reaches out to individuals who need directions in their life. It also opens the eyes of many people to show them who God is, and what He is capable of.

In “Evangelism is…” it is discussed that Satan uses different strategies, “the wiles of the devil”, to make Christians less effective at evangelism (Earley & Wheeler , 2010). Satan casts condemnation at us, tempts us to sin, lie to us, and constantly attempt to distract us in life so that we are blinded by our calling of God (Earley & Wheeler , 2010). The best way to fight spiritual warfare against the devil is by trusting in God, and prayer. Prayer in very powerful, and effective when we put our faith in God, our Lord and Savior. The authors explained that a man had boils that grow fast, and when he went back to the doctor they were gone. As soon as he knew what was happening to him he called prayer warriors and they took this problem to God and prayed for miracles (Earley & Wheeler , 2010).
