Genesis Health Clinic

The HIV/AIDS virus has claimed the lives of over 550,000 Americans. Today, over 1.1 million Americans are living with this dreadful disease of HIV, the virus that causes AIDS. One fifth of Americans are unaware that they may be infected of the HIV virus. South Carolina has reported 14, 163 AIDS cases to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, beginning with this pandemic through December 2008. South Carolina ranked 17th highest among the 50 states in cumulative reported AIDS cases.

The Genesis Health Clinic aim is to prevent the spread of disease by giving lots of information regarding the HIV/ AIDS disease. Knowledge is power when it comes to prevent the spread of diseases. The Genesis Health Clinic believes that the more knowledge a persons poses about the HIV viruses, better decisions will be made about protecting yourself and others. Sexually Transmitted Diseases information is vital especially, when this disease has infected many people. The Genesis Health Clinic will strive on preventive methods that will not only give people better ways of protecting them selves, but also give them an better vision about living with the HIV virus.
