I. Overview of Vietnam's agricultural sector.

Vietnam is in the process of development. In particular, agriculture is still the most important sector for Vietnam at the present time. We can see this clearly. Currently, 70% of the population live in rural areas, 50% of the national workforce are employed in the agricultural sector. (General Office for Population Family Planning, 2016). Total domestic product (GDP) in 2015 rose 6.68% estimates compared to 2014's 6.68% growth in the overall economy, the agricultural sector despite the increase as low as 2.03%, but provided the largest model in the region (about 75%) should contribute 0.26%.
