ABSTRACT

Having a hard time searching places in Manila? Want to be secured in terms of fare expenses? Now there is a way out! “Juan Direction: A commuter’s guide in exploring Manila” is a mobile mapping application that gives commuters an easiest route that they could pass through, automatically computes the estimated fare expenses, provides public utility vehicles (LRT, Bus, Taxi, Jeep, FX) that they could ride on, offers nearby places like restaurants, hotels, national landmarks, suggests if the commuter’s desired place could be walking distance, gives instructions on how commuters could reach their desired destination from their desired place or their current place, provides landmarks, and imparts descriptions in prominent places in Manila.

This proposed mobile application can work with and without internet connection for the convenience of the users. The target users of this proposed mobile application are the Adamsonian commuters but other commuters could also use this mobile application.

In today’s world, there is no doubt that technology gets extensive. A lot of people use gadgets like smartphones, tablets and many more. People use these gadgets because it is convenient and easy to use. Users could bring them anywhere they want since it is handy and could enjoy travelling the world and capture every single moment with these technologies.
