         Read Ch. 7, 9, 11, 13, and Bonus Ch. A of Understanding Business.

         Read Kudler Fine Food’s Strategic Plan, available on your student website.

         Read Materials posted in course materials.

2.       Nongraded Activities and Preparation

         Prepare for Week Five discussions by beginning to explore the Prentice Hall Online tutorials found in Week Five and Concentration Descriptions from the Dean’s Welcome found in Week One.

3.       Assessed Discussion Question: Trust and Interpersonal Relationships

         Conduct individual research and locate an article from the University Library on how trust affects interpersonal relationships.

         Write responses to the following questions:

o        When working in teams, is trust assumed or do team members have to earn trust?

o        Consider how trust is lost when working in teams and how to keep trust among team members.

o        Relate findings from the article to your answer.

4.       Assessed Discussion Question: Identifying Issues

         Explore Kudler Fine Foods and respond to the following questions:

o        What is the difference between an issue and a problem?

o        What are some of the issues at Kudler Fine Foods?.
