It is important for leaders of this organization to create and implement a plan when faced with change, which will affect the structure of the organization this, will allow him or her to manage this change by effectively communicating this change to the employees. Gene One is a biotech company that has experienced rapid and steady growth because entering the biotech industry in 1996. Don Ruiz, who is Gene One CEO realized that this company can expand its growth and success if he or she can raise enough capital, which will be used in funding the new research, development, and technology this was after its success in the biotech industry, upon coming to terms with the fact that gene one will be exposed to challenges when attempting to obtain additional capital.

Don Ruiz strives to promote capital through a public offering initially. This means that there will be a drastic change in the culture of the organization as well as a leadership change. In order for an organization cultural change to be managed effectively, there should be a leadership style and approach in the organization that can properly address managements concerns as well as employees, and additional stakeholders. In this paper I will seek to address the change in leadership that should occur so Gene One can create and implement with success their organizational change through the IPO process. This paper will also include a thorough analysis of Gene One and its leadership team members. The paper will summarize how effective strategy change pairs leadership structure and styles with Gene One.
