Computer Analysts

A computer System Analysts has a multitude of jobs and averages $73,360annually. They create new computer systems or improve existing technologies of a business process. They will prepare a budget and timeline for a project, and then confer with the businesses manager to work out the details. They will also need to talk with users to discover what they require of a system, and then design a system to meet those needs. They will then write a description of the systems design and debug any system in use.

A system Analyst needs the skills of being able to pay attention to detail and to be able to see the whole project completed. They will also need to be able to think logically, follow a timeline, a budget, and have an understanding and knowledge of how computer systems are used. It is equally important to be able to have outstanding writing and speaking abilities. A good computer science education is imperative for computer analysts and needs to start in high school. The student will also benefit from enrolling in computer science camps. Computer Analysts is the fastest growing occupation, due to falling hardware and software prices and competitive computer technologies. This combination creates demand for Computer Analysts.

Computer Programmer

A Computer Programmer will begin by developing the instructions and languages the computer will use to operate. They will resolve any computer problems and run logic tests within the system to maintain good operating conditions. Programming a computer can be time consuming. A small job can take as little as a few hours while a large project can take years to complete because the larger they are the more complex they are.
