What Makes A Hero A Hero

Webster's Dictionary defines the word hero as a man admired for his achievements and noble qualities; one that shows great courage. The song “Hero,” popularized by Mariah Carey says that “A hero lies in each and every one of us.” A woman trapped in a burning house may consider the fireman who saved her a hero. A young child may perceive Superman, Spiderman or Wonder Woman their hero. We all have a definition of a hero, whether it is based on courageous acts or simply the wisdom and fortitude to do what is right. I believe that heroes possess and display the highest level of charity.

The term hero is a widely use word for the ranges from a sandwich to a remarkably brave person that goes above and beyond the call of duty. Many people yes have deferient oppoins on what it takes to be a hero. When I was writing this paper I searched the internet for “what make a person a hero.” Throughout the paper one idea kept coming up. A hero does not have to have powers, they are humble doing what has to be done regardless of the danger or the consequences. What makes a person a hero? In my oppoin these are some chatestise of a hero. A hero is a person that exhibits traits of selflessness, care about people, they help even if they do not have time, and they are leaders, giving.

Way we need hero. As a culture we all need look up to and we consider those people hero in our mind they are people like fire freight military personal and superheroes out of a book. Then people we look up to have great affive on are life most like grow up wanting to be a cop or fire freight. I have no doubt in my mind these people are heroes. We have people in our life’s that go without being called that these people are the people close to us. Like friends and family members. What makes them a hero?
