WF Company established the overnight shift section in 2007 and intended to provide quality trade finance service to its US clients. Out of the 350 employees, 150 are working in the overnight shift section. The company intends to further expand its overnight shift section in providing other associated payment services to its US clients. However, the high turnover and absenteeism rate have been the main cause of concerns for the management of WF Company to execute this next objective of the company. It is also discovered that the productivity of the overnight shift section is extremely below those working in the day shift which leaded to a poor organization performance for the last 3 years. As part of the situation which WF Company is facing, it requires an effective employee engagement strategy to ensure the company understands what it can do to help support employee engagement at a system level for the current and future state of the company and improving employee engagement is the responsibility of the management of WF Company.

Employee engagement describes the involvement of employees at all levels in positive two-way dialogue and action to create a great place to work – where employees find their work meaningful and are willing to partner together to improve the organization performance as well as the future success of the Company.
