1. INTRODUCTION:

In this report I will critically evaluate the implementation of a new collections department within my organization, Mcloughlin Porter Attorneys. I will briefly discuss the process I followed as well as the factors that influenced the successful aspects of my project and I will also motivate suggestions for aspects that could have been improved.

2. STEPS TAKEN TO PLAN THE PROJECT:

I made use of the following steps as a guideline for planning my project. I made use of the following steps during the process:

1. Define:

I involved the people who assisted me during the project to define the project for a new collections department within our organization. This was due to the fact that I realized we would not be able to make much progress unless everybody involved co-operated. We decided whom the stakeholders was, which included everyone directly or indirectly involved in the project. We discussed the new project with the system users, who is our biggest clients eg. Midvaal Private Hospital. We set clear objectives and we estimated the time and costs which would be needed to do what is needed to achieve our objectives.
