Globalization is making the world closer than ever before. It is all about closing the distances and gaps around the globe, leading to more efficient use of resources and benefits of all who are involved. It involves increasing among national economic systems, more integrated financial markets, economies of trade, higher factor mobility, free flow of technology and spread of knowledge throughout the world. This like most things in life can be good and bad. Some pros of globalization are the worldwide market; steady cash flow into developing countries, more information, culture intermingling, open-minded towards others who live in other parts of the world and technological development. Cons are loss of jobs, pay cuts, transfer of quality and technological advancements, loss of identity, uniqueness and traditions, smaller businesses can be put out of business by larger ones. Developing countries are progressing at the expense of other developed countries.

Through Globalization there is more access to products from different countries, increase in production sector and there are lots of options for companies now. American consumers can gain from the bigger choice of goods and lower prices. Politics are merging and decisions that are being made are actually beneficial for people all over the world. There is culture intermingling between countries, people are learning about others cultural differences and coming across things that they like and then adapt to it. This is a pro to globalization but opponents say that countries’ individual cultures are becoming overpowered by Americanization. Culture can be defined as the totality of collectively transmitted behavior patterns, arts, beliefs, institutions, and all other products of human work and thought.
