Effective Communication Paper
“Communication refers to the act of one or more persons sending or receiving messages,
with the opportunity for feedback” (Journal of Environmental Health, 2011). Various
organizations have methodology for disseminating health information with internal and external
organizations. Utilizing various communication channels to perform task, allows communication
advancement within organizations. The most common methodology of communicating health
information is the use of computers. There are recommendations for improvements that can
allow continue success in communication within organizations. Communication is the main key
to everything you must be able to do that with one another on a everyday basis. If there are
problems then improvements will need to be made the number one thing to improve is
communication. Once this is done then you can start improving on working as a team, getting to
know other cultures, help others work on their skills, and learn all about the laws and rules.
Training staff can provide productivity within organization and allow organization to stay current
with new communication changes.
To perform work, organizations require an order, requisition, or prescription from a
doctor. Computer technology makes this task fast and efficient with fewer human errors.
Increasingly health care has become a paperless industry. Even forms filled out by hand are
scanned and the images are stored electronically. Despite the commonality in many
organizations, health information dissemination takes on a multitude of forms. Even today, there
are organizations that transfer information by common carrier. For some information, this
method is unavoidable. Specimen samples are just one example requiring transfer by common
