IMA making a way, for accountants and financial professionals to drive business performance in their new strategy in “creating value through values”.

IMA is the global association for accountants and financial professionals working in business. They commitment is to help people of consisting over 60,000 members. In order that they increase their professional skills, better handle their organization, and grow in their career.

It was in 1991, that the organization name was changed into the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA), suggestive of their wide role in the association for accountants and financial professionals. Now they are widely known by their abbreviation IMA.

This report refer to the IMA’s Board of Directors approved for 2011-20014 in fiscal year 2011 began July 1, 2010 a strategic plan for the organization during their meeting On June 5 in Baltimore, at the Annual Conference. The general theme for the plan is “Creating Value through Values” which was to be visible in the areas of activities of IMA in the coming years as proposed.

The mere idea of “Creating Value through Values” referred to the idea of a plan of IMA to focus on the foundational elements or rather essentials which are crucial for the achievement of business outcomes or in other means key performance indicators. And there was good news about the new fiscal year. As evidence the resulted outcome was members more than 10,000 participants and 100+ groups. The business outcome was an increasing number of members, raise of capacity to 1,300 attendees per webinar, produce a steady stream of practical research for the C-suite and "everyday" management accountants, and Members and corporations visited praised them for factors such as marketing, communications, and new branding.
