Provide an example of how an organizational commitment to positively impact job satisfaction.

One of the most important aspects among employees in the workplace is that they have the sense that their work makes a positive contribution to the organization. In addition, workers desire a sense of fulfillment in the work they produce. Many factors have an impact on job satisfaction. What makes one content with his or her job may vary from one worker to another and may vary daily.

Job satisfaction may also be affected by the employee’s individual attributes, the supervisor’s uniqueness, and the nature of the work. The result of actions and environment experience in the workplace is job satisfaction. When a worker finds work interesting, promotion opportunities are available, supervisors are accommodating, and coworkers are amiable, that worker has experienced a level of job satisfaction.

The Equity Theory is one of the most important outcomes that an employee feels he or she should receive from the employment relationship. The most concrete of theses is a reward which is most likely to be a cash payment for a job well done. (Jex & Britt, 2008).

Employers have come to the realization of having a satisfied workforce will promote a positive relationship between the employee and the employer. Job satisfaction promotes partnership between the employees and management. Organizational socialization plays a major role on employee job satisfaction. Conflict among employee’s can spill over into other areas of the organization. (Jex & Britt, 2008)
