National Seminar on “Green Management”: Call for Papers and Participation

Dear Sir / Madam,

Hyderabad Business School, GITAM University, Hyderabad Campus, is

organizing  a One-Day National Seminar on “Green Management” on 19 March

2011 at Hotel Katriya, Rajbhavan Road, Somajiguda, Hyderabad.

The Seminar is meant for management teachers, industrialists,

entrepreneurs and management professionals.

Going Green is a new two word Mantra industry and businesses are forced to

chant in this 21st Century because of the implications of human activity

to the survival of this planet.  The National Seminar would like to

facilitate meaningful reflections on the following sub-themes of Green

Management:

1.        Green Product Management

2.        Eco-tourism

3.        Power Management

4.        Carbon Footprint

5.        Environmental Management

6.        Waste management

7.        Green IT

8.        Intelligent Buildings

9.        Triple Bottom-line Reporting

10.       CSR

We invite papers on these sub-themes.  The last date for submitting the

abstracts (in 150 words) is 2 March 2011. Deadline for submission of Full

Papers is 15 March 2011. A Souvenir will be brought out on the occasion of

the Seminar.

Guidelines for Papers

1. Title of the paper (font size 14 Times New Roman), followed by Name of

    the author, Designation, Affiliating organization, e-mail id (font size 12).

2. Rest of the paper: Font size 12, Times New Roman, Single space,

   Justified paragraphs.

3. Place Abstract of about 5 - 10 sentences in the beginning, followed by

    3 to 5 keywords.

4. Give Suitable Titles, Like Introduction etc.

5. Check grammar and punctuations carefully.

6. Limit the paper length to 5 pages.

7. All submissions should be sent to the Conference Chair through email to

   the following email id:hyd.bschool@gitam.in.
