Club IT, Part Two

Lisa and Ruben, the owners of Club IT have a strong work ethic and are goal driven. Their drive and desire lead to the opening and continues success of the club. In order for the club to remain competitive in the market it has to further improve certain aspects of their business. To fully appreciate what changes need to be made a good comprehension of Club IT’s set backs are in order. Over the past few months an extensive analysis of the business has been accomplished; to include all computer-based systems, business operating procedures, and employee along with clientele interactions. Club IT’s biggest asset is its clientele base. The recent renovations to the physical appearance of the club have increased the clientele base substantially. However, to reach a pool that hasn’t yet been tapped certain improvements to the IT department are in order. The three main problem areas that Club IT is faced with is lack of e-business, technology, and computer-based systems.

E-business

The first of the three problem areas Club IT is faced with would be e-business. E-business is the backbone of promotion and advertisement for the club, which ultimately affects the clubs revenue when not employed properly. One very important aspect of Club IT’s e-business is the clubs website. Club IT has a very generic website that could be so much more. The website is very plan and generic, nothing like the club. Nothing makes the website stand out from the competition. If a potential client were to view this site they may go elsewhere on presentation alone. The entire website needs to be revamped to match the Clubs ambiance.

For starters; the home page would display a slide show of pictures from current events that took place at the club, tutorials from VIP members, sponsor links, and links to direct users to different parts of Club IT’s site, etc. The different links that should be incorporated with Club IT’s site are, about Club IT, Club IT music,...
