To Drill or Not to Drill? That is the Question

When making a decision on whether I am on President Obama side to stop drilling and become green is a hard decision to make for me. Both sides deliver a great reason to why we do or do not need to become green and continue drilling. If there was a way to use both becoming green without it being expensive or continuing to drill without harming the ozone layer I would not be opposed.

Although I agree that we need to drill I also feel as though stopping drilling will help the world and ozone to become healthier and greener. If both the President and other politicians came up with a solution that would allow both sides to come together and make both drilling and going green work than the world can be better. With all the updated technology we have in the world today there should be something that allows drilling that will not hurt the world and ozone layer. While I do agree about drilling if we could drill and not harm the earth and ozone layer than things will be better. If we were just to go completely green with drilling, then we would have to deal with a lot of job’s ending and a lot of money that the government will have to spend begins the process.

Key habits that are hindering my thoughts are the world becoming solar. Becoming solar will definitely affect numerous jobs in a country that already has a high unemployment rate. Although becoming solar could bring jobs for individuals, a large number of individuals will need to return to school to really understand all the concepts needed with becoming green. Another habit that is hindering my thoughts is if we continue to damage the ozone layer than the world will have no choice but to become green. In the world today when new things are introduced to individuals it always makes some skeptical. Trying to get people to accept going green may become a hard task.
