Introduction Information technologies are the key part of today business and private life. According to theoretical view,

IT is the use of hardware and software in order to manage and handle information and in the long run improve the efficiency of the company and enhance its performance. Practically, the information technologies includes not only information, but also computers, informatics and communication. IT covers the problem of storing, protecting, processing information and transmitting and retrieving data as necessary. The aim of this assignment is to present three different information technologies that play a vital role in today‟s business. Each description will focus on the technology‟s objectives, strengths and weakness and ethical concerns. Using information technologies by and large brings a lot of facilities to the company in terms of cost reduction or making business processes more effective, they at the same time make the company face many risks. This may apply to different aspects of running the business as information technology becomes present almost everywhere in the organization and outside it. In this report I will try to cover the issues of communication, managing and handling data and e-mail (electronic mail technology).
