Househusbands Are Not Worse Than Housewives
Good afternoon everyone. Today, I would like to talk about househusbands are not worse than housewives.
Everybody knows that for most of the family, women would be the housewife and men be the career man; and we won’t disagree with this law. However, the human society is on a constant change and it is being increasingly observed that men are taking on a new role of controlling and running the household. Although, many men view it as a work without any worth because it does not involve any payments, but househusbands have been seen in increasing numbers in Western culture since the late 20th century (especially in Canada, the UK and the northern U.S). Many men do like to become a househusband nowadays for many reasons; a closer look will definitely reveal that it is one of the most important jobs in the society.
I think there are several reasons and advantages why some families feel that it would be more beneficial for the father to be the primary caregiver while the mother works outside of the home. Firstly, advantage for the child. Almost everyone believes that the bond between father and child is just as important as the mother's in the overall social and emotional development of a child. There have been many statistics and studies done which show and suggest the importance of the paternal role in a child's life and benefits of the househusband. For example, it beneficial for a child’s physical, cognitive, emotional and behavioral development.
In addition, a lot of us know that mothers reassure toddlers when they become frustrated while fathers encourage them to manage their frustration, as men have a better emotional control. This helps the children learn to deal with stress and frustration.
In the other hand, due to economic reason, househusband allows the mother to work without worrying about to use a daycare. The arrangement prevents the mother from having to deal with the stress of finding...
