In complying with a June 28 deadline agreement, I am submitting the attached research report entitled SOFT SKILLS NEEDED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN CORPORATE AMERICA as requested by the College of Business Office of Placement, in concert with the University’s Career Development Center.
The purpose of this report is to provide additional information about the following soft skills needed to be successful in corporate America:
• Professional dress
• Etiquette
• Interviewing techniques
• Communication
Secondary data was used to identify three sub-factors for each soft skill. These secondary research sources consisted of books, magazines, and web sites.
