Admission seasons

February and July are the months of admission in New Zealand. Minimum first class marks in the previous course and an IELTS score of 6 to 6.5 points for undergraduate and postgraduate courses respectively are the eligibility criteria for admission to universities in NZ. Admission to undergraduate courses requires completion of twelve years of elementary and secondary education. In the Indian context, this implies qualifying the class XII examination or the junior college. The acceptable degrees include Indian School Certificate, Intermediate Certificate, Higher School Certificate, Higher Secondary Certificate and the All India Senior School Certificate. Most universities here require a minimum of 75 per cent marks in aggregate and 60 per cent in English.
