Poor Communicators.

Communication is the exchange and flow of information and ideas from one person to another; it involves a sender transmitting an idea, information, or feeling to a receiver Effective communication occurs only if the receiver understands the exact information or idea that the sender intended to transmit. Many of the problems that occur in an organization are the either the direct result of people failing to communicate and/or processes, which leads to confusion and can cause good plans to fail

Bosses are accused of being “poor communicators” because of their lack of quality management. Usually, their characteristics are those of distortion, ambiguities, and incongruities in communication which increase uncertainty; therefore, having a negative impact on satisfaction.

In the case ,I think Caruso is a poor communicator . First , he doesn’t listen fully to employee ideas before dismissing them , in communication process , sender who send the message though a channel to receiver , and receiver feedback to sender, but Caruso send his message to his employees but no feedback ,so the communication is not successful. Second is his voice tone is frequently condescending,
