What is fashion?

Fashion as defined by the Longman dictionary of Contemporary English is the particular way in which a group of people does something. It further defines it as the popular style of clothes, hair, behaviour and so on at a particular time, that is likely to change.

What is a hazard?

A hazard is something that may be dangerous, cause accidents.

A health hazard is therefore simply defined as something that is likely to harm your health.

How is your style a health hazard?

OVERSIZED BAGS

-Accused of causing back, neck and shoulder pain, headaches and arthritis (a disease that can cause a lot of pain in the joints of your body).

Huge handbags may be good news for your summer wardrobe, but they can be bad news for your health. Research has proven that, oversized bags when carried on one shoulder can cause the body to tip sideways, forcing it to curve unnaturally, leading to long term postural problems {the position you hold your body in when you sit or stand}.

While men fit everything they need into a slimline wallet that slips happily into their jeans pockets, women are placing unnecessary strain on their necks, shoulders and back with oversized bags.

In the past five years, researchers say, the burden on a woman's shoulder has increased 38% to an average of 5.2lbs {pounds}.

The problem, she says, is that you’ll inevitably fill your bag, no matter how large it is – and some should come with a health warning.

Big bags and purses also are a target for harmful bacteria such as E. coli and Staphylococcus aureus. Women carry and set their purses down everywhere....
