Q: The Clarity system seems to be slow processing my changes when I save the work that I have done?

A: Each time you save your information, the Clarity system will load your saved changes into a queue to update the databases. If many people save their information at the same time, your information will be saved in the order it was queue to the database and may take minutes to process. This does not mean that the saved changes are lost or will not be processed. It just may take a few minutes.

Also, computers with smaller RAM may take longer to save changes. Unfortunately, there is no quick fix for this issue other than upgrading your RAM.

To minimize this problem, we suggest that you save your changes often. This may seem counter-intuitive but saving a few changes takes less processing time than saving entire budgets with 20-30 adjustments.

Q: How can I provide for overtime expenses in my budget?

A: When inputting overtime you must apply the amount to an individual through the "Personnel Budget" template.

-Click “Personnel Budget” to open

-Under “Annual Budget Templates” select “Position Adjustment Template”

-Select the Division and Department you wish to edit from the drop down menus...
