WHAT IS WHISTLE-BLOWING

Whistle-blowing is a term used for what is legally known as a Public Interest Disclosure, which is when an employee discloses information about malpractice/ wrongdoing they discover occurring in the School.

Examples of malpractice/ wrongdoing include:

* Financial malpractice;

* Breach of any of the School's regulations;

* endangering health and safety;

* Criminal activity at the School;

* Academic and professional malpractice; and

* Willful failure to declare a relevant interest in the Register of Interests.

Introduction of case study

Ethics in organization management forms one of the most important aspect for ensuring sustained business profits and effective outlay of its culture. This is mainly due to the fact that all actions involve attitudes, beliefs , and conscience that forms strong basement which even the simplest misdemeanor can easily undermine the overall effectiveness of the organization . Ethically derived, whistle blowers are strongly effective to ensure strong the correct route is assumed by business entities .

Whistle blowing means calling attention to wrongdoing that is occurring within an organization. Whistle blowing is definitely good for the organization as in new corporate world organizations are not only liable to shareholders but also to all other stakeholders concerned with the companies i.e. Banks, Government, Employee, Society, Customers, and Suppliers etc. Whistle blower will not only protect rights of all stakeholders but would also protect rights of minority shareholders so that management can not involve in activities not authorized by all stakeholders.
