Individuals typically have a set of values that differ from one another. Many organizations consider diversity in the work place in order to adopt differ perspectives on a number of situations. In today's world it is all too prevalent to see more and more people hungry to gain success at an ever-increasing rate. So how personal can ethics really get? Inside any business employees will agree to disagree when it is pertaining to a certain situation. Organizations need to adopt a set of procedures and principles all colleagues could relate to. Authoritative business figures should not exercise or direct employees preferences in order to change an individual’s mindset, this allows a diverse environment many organizations believe will shift the effects of conducting businesses. Understanding differences and personal attributes is essential because this promotes interaction amongst employees. Employees should be treated equally; however no individual can be treated the same. Leaders need to evaluated each situation on a case basis to determine because people behavior is based on what they perceive. With many organizations, ethics is defined by senior executives. This allows the perception of others to become personal due to people simply not agreeing with everything business ethics involves. For example, a new comer to the organization may perceive ethics totally in a different perspective than someone who has been with the company for years. Interaction with one another is vital to understanding personal preferences and differences. Ethics has the capability to impact organizational negatively, personally, and directly.
