Diamond Wipes International started out as a small company with a great potential for growth. I viewed the report and found many challenges that the company faced. The company encountered difficulty with a rapid growth and the founder didn’t have manager experience, nor did the team, to handle this type of growth.

Eve yen fit the profile of a typical business founder because like other founders she wanted to open her own business and make a better future for her daughter and for herself. Eve yen had a vision of being her own boss and developing a company that could become well-known to the restaurant market nationally. Eve Yen saw the potential of targeting this market because at the time there were no other competitions seeking this opportunity. She didn’t prioritize her short-term and long-term goals for the business. Unfortunately, Eve Yen made mistakes along the way of her company’s success.

Eve Yen had no prior knowledge of being a business owner, nor did her team have the managerial experience. Ms. Yen didn’t have the experience of hiring qualified employees that would be able to handle all of the challenges that would come with great rapid growth of a business.

I would describe her leadership style as mediocre. The reason being is because Eve hired employees that weren’t manager material. Her staff couldn’t properly handle the growth of the company and they had no knowledge of leadership that could handle hurdles that come with

being leaders of a rapid growing company. Eve also hired assistants that were suppose to have the ability of being able to multi-task and some failed at doing so. This resulted in Eve having to take a loss of monies because she had to fire and hire new employees to handle the tasks at hand.
