ABSTRACT
This Paper reports on research that explored the concept of Leadership Self Reflection with Leadership styles. It is the self inquiry in which the main aim is to tap wisdom from a personal and intuitive source. The main purpose of this study was to develop a leadership framework for organizations through self reflection.
Introduction:
Self Reflection:
Being aware of and understanding your values, attitudes, and behaviors as they relate to your own leadership style and its impact on others. At “the heart” of all the other practices: Self-reflection is internal while the others are external. It is the ability to gain insight from one’s own experience or action to assess the significance of what has happened.
Keirsey has mentioned in his book different types of personalities and how these will help a person to become a successful leader. Lussier in his literature mentions about different leadership styles and motivational theories. When compared closely both are closely related as they are finally leads to the leadership. Even Keirsey explained personality types to gain leadership and Lussier explain the leadership types to become a good leader.
Personal Leadership Strengths:
According to Keirsey’s personality Temperament Sorter my personality type is an Artisan-Composer (ISFP). The Artisans composers are in tune with their senses. These are the people who are skilled with tools, entertainment, and people. Composers if found a medium of non-verbal communication, the art form, then they will express their character quite easily otherwise they simply remain unknown.
