Ancient Rome

Rome has a rich technology of concrete, plumbing facilities, cranes, wagon technology, mechanized harvesting machines, domes, the arch in building practice, wine and oil presses, and glass blowing. During the 1st century of our record, Rome was already invented their technology of aforementioned and refined as well, thus today it became the typical roman technology.

Rome’s energy was from the water, they invented a Hierapolis sawmill, to have their work done by the technology, and they exploited coal and wood for heating, till the later time that they invented the steam engine, but they didn’t utilize such invention, but to understand the air pressure.

Rome is well known for its crafting, the crafters they made use of different kinds of materials to form their desired objects into a masterpiece. Different kinds of artisans have its own practice masters and apprentices, some masters did share their methods and experiences, but some others did bother to. the most clear notes were written was written by Pliny, describing the gold mining.

The roads of Rome the most advanced technology, till 19th century, 1st was to dig up the soils, then put a layer of sand or rocks, then another layer for the concrete and the polygonal rock slabs, during that time the roads were built for the militaries, the roads were built during the ancient time, were sturdy enough to last till now, it has high resistance.

Rome has a lot of aqueducts and dams, overall aqueducts were 11, each serve as a water conveyor, and could accommodate around 3 millions of population, some aqueducts and dam that lasted, are still being use. Their water supply are from the mountains, through aqueducts it conveys to the land.

The weapons of Rome was too rich, they were said that they inherited almost all the ancient weapons, the had good swords, spears, armor, machines to throw missiles.
