Employees and coworkers can use this assessment test in the workplace. A person’s strengths are highlighted by this test. This assessment test is very valuable to employers because they can pick the best person for the job. This test pinpoints if an individual is suitable for certain positions. The Expectancy for Success Scale can reveal how a person’s manages stress and their other characteristics they display. On the other hand the assessment test cannot be valid because the questions are not verified by simple yes or no responses. Some of the question can be deemed reliable by situational tests. Material that may seem subjective is included in the responses given in the Expectancy Scale test. Each subject’s perspective is shown in a positive way than what is really true. This test has many benefits. A person’s traits, skills, and abilities are evaluated. Every individual is expressing their own characteristics and skills. If the person is more honest the person is during their assessment test, the more they learn about their own strengths and weaknesses. This person’s work performance in the future will improve because of this additional information.

These types of test have certain shortfalls because they are not accurate at depicting of the persons and they can sometimes have misleading information. This can lead to each person having a sense of false impressions because of the inaccurate information given by the assessment test. Every person has their own opinion on whether or not the information obtained by the Expectancy for Success Scales test can be used to better serve employers and employees. There are pros and cons to this test because the information cannot be verified but I think that most of the time people answer truthfully and this test can depict key tale- tale signs of he best placement for each employee.
