The paper will be about a business plan to motivate team members. Taking into consideration the different personalities, values, emotions, behaviors, and attitudes of all the team B members. Positive influence has shown to build morale in the team member’s emotions, personalities and values can and will affect behavior in the workplace.

To increase team motivation, employee satisfaction, and overall job performance one must look at the different personalities, emotions, and behaviors. Motivation is where an individuals direction and persistence towards the company goals. Employees need motivation to obtain outstanding job performance. One can motivate employees by offering bonuses, extra pay, gift cards, letter of recognition, or a simple good job to the employee. Organizations want to keep the team members motivated so that all can reach the common goal.

Attitudes are statements that are favorable or unfavorable that concerns people, objects and events (Robbins & Judge, 2007). An attitude can reflect on how someone feels about something. Attitudes are made up of three components; cognition, affect, and behavior (Robbins & Judge, 2007). Attitudes influence behaviors. An attitude can build up a team or destroy a team. Positive attitudes allow teammates to work together to reach the common goal. Negative attitudes can corrupt a team and job performance can go down.

Personality is the way an individual reacts with other team members and reacts to team members. Our personalities are what we are born with. Personality is molded by ones heredity and the environment that one grew up in. According to Robbins & Judge, “personality shapes our behavior so to better understand someone in the organization, we look at how values shape many work related behaviors” (para, 2007).
