Throughout the years we have been a black and white country. Of, course we all know that is not true and will not be true in the future. The facts on how the different cultures are counted could change how the how many different races are in the country, by 2050. Minority groups expect to account for 49.9% of the population. Asian and Hispanics will see the most dramatic increases between now and mid-century. Now whites makeup 69% of the population, their growth is slowing because of low birth and immigration. Their total will grow 7% to 210 million or 50.1% of the population, in 2050. Between 2040 and 2050 the census bureau expects the non-Hispanics white population wil actually decline slightly because of a lare number of expected deaths of baby boomers, who by 2040 will be at least 76. The Hispanics and Asian population are expected to continue their explosive growth. The Asian population is expected to more than triple to 33 million by 2050. Hispanics will increase their ranks by 188% to 102.6 million, or roughly one quarter of the population. The bureau will expect the African American population to rise 71% to over 61 million, or about 15% of the population compared with nearly 13% now. African Americans will remain the second largest minority. Asians will comprise 8% f the population in 2050, compared with 4% now.

When I first started, I knew this class was going to help me understand what our world is dealing with today. I knew this class was going to teach goodwill to others and how he or she want people to accept them for who they are. Most of the students was raised in a different America than our older generation and just don’t understand how this country was decades ago. This was why americans didn’t know no other way to think of themselves anymore, we are the American culture.
