One of the major problems I have is balancing my time more efficiently in my day-to-day life. Every day I am faced with balancing my work, school, family and the never ending chores. I get pulled in different directions throughout my day and can get distracted from my priorities easily. At times I have trouble returning to my priorities as something else pops up that requires my attention. At the end of the day I look back and realize I did not get everything done which means they fall onto tomorrow’s list of to do’s. Evidently, I am in desperate need of time management strategies and tools. I need to find a solution to the problems that benefits me as well as my family to be able to complete the work and keep my stress to a manageable level.

Sources to Utilize

There are many sources available that will assist in gathering information on time management strategies. The internet is one of the most used sources to conduct research and it is usually free and offers a great deal of information. Doing research on the internet may be very time consuming if not done correctly. You will need to know what you are looking for and be specific when using the search engines to access information. I would look for strategies on time management for students or students returning to school. I will need to decide if this site is beneficial to me by questioning the content. I would need to decide how useful the idea would be to me in my work on a daily basis and if it is concrete. Using the internet is probably the best resource for me as its access is readily available.

There are several books, articles available and classes or seminars but my limited free time availability does not allow for attending seminars and non-required reading. I have very little time do to extra activities right now with trying to juggle school, work, and family life.
