Club IT Part 1

Looking for a hot new place to be in the Phoenix, Arizona area? Brand new Club IT has been open for just over a month. Club IT has an open layout and high ceilings, with lots of seating and a large dance floor to show off your moves. The atmosphere is full of high energy and loads of fun as people flood in for the amazing food, drinks and wide range of different genres of music. It is hard to believe that two college friends have created a huge success for the valley. The co-owners and great friends Ruben Keys and Lisa Tejada went from college students supporting themselves with their musical talents to their dreams of owning a night club.

Keys and Tejada are both Business Administration graduates. As they played their ways through college, Keys and Tejada were able to pick up on the day to day operations of running a night club, yet still being able to keep up their studies to learn about business principles. They opened Club IT with a mission to “offer you live music, DJ’s, dance space and refreshment… seek to build a community that meets regularly at Club IT” (Rainer & Wiley 2009). They treat each visitor as they are friends and want to insure enjoyment to all who enter their doors.

Although, Keys and Tejada both graduated with degrees in Business Administration and have been doing a great job with the night club, they have noticed that they need help with information management. Club IT has recently hired an intern to help with the managing the companies data. The intern has recently recommended to the owners some upgrades in their current data management. He has mentioned that by using an Application Software inside Information Systems it will help employees. With Application Software the office will be able to run on an automated system, which will allow for automated product ordering, and even help with scheduling bands.
