Gone back the days, when man was a social animal; i.e. who live in society, for the society and with the society. In past, we were emotional by nature. We used to love nature and attach with family members and other people in our society. We were surrounded by many relations. There was custom of greeting each other saying ‘Namaste’ bowing little bit due to respect for each other. We used to take blessings of elders in our family. We could not think of living alone. Now we hear every one saying “Kids today have no moral values or sense of culture!” We has constantly felt the breath of changing values and cultural shock. Swamy Vivekananda foresaw the dangers of Globalization when he spoke in Chicago, 'Shall India die?

In modern society, we have transformed into business minded machines. We want to encash our each and every situation. We have no time for emotions. We do not even give smile to make others happy, forget to live for others. We feel self sufficient. In the disguise of self dependence, we have created closed shell of ‘Nuclear Family’ where we have confined ourselves. In fact, we have lost trust in each other. We think we can make better decisions than our parents, That’s why we do not want to go for arrange marriage and sometimes not even for marriage. . In face now it is no more homes, we live in houses. There is no room for love and relationship. Everyone in the house wants his or her space may it be father, mother or children. We even feel trapped in family and relations and try to get rid of them as early as possible. Staying outside the house is another idea of freedom. We do not help rather; we are always busy in pulling legs of each other. So, when we do not have love, respect and time even for our family members, forget about the society. We won’t leave any chance to make our castle on grave of others.

No doubt some social changes are also responsible for this. Earlier we used to live together in native town earning our livelihood together...
