The international marketing strategies and methods differ for e-business and e-commerce. These two terms may seems alike and sometimes used interchangeably, but there has they are different. E-commerce is basically the processes of distribution, purchase and selling, marketing, and giving services for products and services via internet or electronic data interchange. E-commerce just deals with these transactions online. On the other hand, e-business generally refers to any business process that relies on an automated information system. E-business deals with the processing of tasks and business process both on the web and within the organization. Technically e-business includes e-commerce and is a mean to add some revenue to the company and build a better relationship with customers and partners. Marketing for e-business and e-commerce is very much similar to the marketing for product in a non-virtual market. In both of these methods there are issues such as language and cultural barriers, and proper understanding of the target market. These issues are a little less in planning a marketing strategy for a e-business as the internal information of the organization which is already being use for marketing of products, are available and give an overview of the values and issues the marketers need to consider.
