Kudler Fine Foods Frequent Shopper Program

Kudler Fine Foods is a local upscale specialty food store that was founded by Kathy Kudler and located in the San Diego, California area. Kudler operates three locations in the San Diego area, each location is situated in a retail shopping center and occupies approximately 8,000 square feet. Kathy obtained financing and opened the first of three stores in 1998. The first store was successful enough to encourage Kathy to open two more store locations, one in 2000 and a third in 2003 (Apollo Group 2010).

Kudler Fine Foods would like to develop a customer purchase tracking system through a Frequent Shopper Program that would reward customers by awarding loyalty points that can be redeemed for gift items, specialty foods, and other products and services by the customer.

Stakeholders

There are several stakeholders that will be involved and have a role in the development of the Frequent Shopper Program project for Kudler Fine Foods, The stakeholders that will be involved will be identified here.

Kathy Kudler – Kathy takes on many responsibilities at Kudler, besides being the founder of Kudler Fine Foods, she is also the main manager. Kathy handles the hiring and firing of employees, ordering products, inventory control, and finances.

Customers – The customers are the recipients of the benefits that will be offered by Kudler’s Frequent Shopper Program. The customer’s role will be to offer suggestions to Kudler about the taste, pricing, and availability of the variety of different food items and services that are offered by Kudler.
