Introduction
Outputs exist at three different levels within a company; organizational, group, and individual. For Allegiant, at the organizational level, their services are identified as well as organizational performance measures. The organizational level also involves factors worth observing when evaluating organizational performance. At the group level, both formal and informal structures must be acknowledged. The separation between these two groups may either aid or hinder the organizations performance. The third level, the individual level, is critical. Individual skills must match the demands of their tasks in order for the organization to be successful. Allegiant’s current performance reflects success at all levels. It is inevitable that outputs will interact with one another. Ideally, each level fits well with the other and congruence is achieved. The overall performance Allegiant Travel Company is off the charts. They have made records and surpassed other agencies within their market.

“Allegiant differs from most other carriers in a variety of ways. It's small and it has competition on only five of its routes. And sales of car rentals, vacation packages and other services and products are nearly as important to its business as ferrying passengers back and forth.” (Mutzabaugh, 2010) The company separates their services by operations; current operations, charter services, and maintenance. Each sections performance is measured in some way. Most measurements are done through financial analysis. Allegiant’s net profit for 2009 came in at $76.3 million. Their return on assets was 17.2%. Any company with operating equipment will experience an increase in maintenance costs as the assets age. Customer satisfaction, on the other hand, is measured by the number of flights delivered by the company. Total cities served increased from 61 in 2008 to 69 in 2009....
