Description of my current work environment/culture:
Background:
Currently, I am occupying the position of Managing Director in a Media Advertising Agency, with an ‘informal organigrame” more focused on people then positions.
The Media Advertising Agency belongs to a group of agencies (360° offer) which was co-founded by our CEO 7 years ago. Our CEO trusts and empowers his key managers and gives them enough space to act and take decisions.

For your perspective, Media agencies in Morocco are an emerging industry with few talents since the function of media buyer/planner was auxiliary to advertising agencies and now it’s a completely autonomous discipline.
The first media agencies were created starting from 2003 only and there are only few professionals in this sector.
People are the most important asset to our industry, and the success of our business is closely tied to the talents we employ.
Having said that, the talents are very rare and the turnover is vey high and especially in our organization that becomes to be a “reference” thanks to our prestigious portfolio (FMCG, banking, Mobile phones...).
We’ve also known a serious problem with our main clients because of this high turnover and we need to improve retention rate.
I believe this retention could be achieved by “job significance”, autonomy (negotiate deals, budget allocation per media and vehicle…) and client’s satisfaction (regular feed-backs).
