Communication in business is essential whether it is a nonprofit organization, a big name company or the government, but it plays a big role in any organization for it to be successful. The organization that I work for which is the government deals with patients, food suppliers, and dealing with patients and food suppliers they must have good communication. With the lack of communication patients will not obtain the care that they need or should be afforded. Communication starts from upper management and works its way down to the peers. To run effectively an organization or business; communication is paramount. Without communication the business or organization can lose millions of dollars or even patients lives.
Business communication plays a big role in my day- to- day activities at work it could be by face-to-face, informal meetings, e-mail messages, or phone conversations. With these roles of communication it helps the team to accomplish the mission. One must communicate to train, motivate, coordinate, and to get the job done effectively.
The trend that I have seen in my current workplace even my previous positions that deals with business communication is e-mail, memos, meetings, group gatherings, training, and presentations. Today’s businesses have various ways of communicating; the most popular that comes in mind is the e-mail. Technology has evolved from the past and has come a long way in the way companies communicate with their customers, staff, and business partners.
