ARGUMENTATIVE ESSAY: WHICH GAME CONSOLE I LIKE MORE? (PS3 OR NINTENDO WII)

In this era of globalisation, many gaming consoles have been invented by various company. Example of the company are Sony, Nintendo and Sega. This console provides gaming experience that is beyond imagination. Two of this gaming console are PS3 and Nintendo WII. Which one you like more? For me, I prefer PS3 because of various reasons I have look through.

Firstly, is in the aspects of their controllers. The controller for the PS3 looks like the same controller that video game enthusiasts have been using for years on the PlayStation and PlayStation 2. However, it holds a little bit more. It also has the SIXAXIS system, which allows for the PS3 to sense which way the controller is leaning or moving. Motion sense is extremely important for the Wii controller. This controller looks like a remote control, with an infrared port on its top. You can connect various peripherals to the Wii remote, such as a controller that looks like a Super Nintendo controller, or the Nunchuk, which is an analog control pad. Between this differences, I choose the PS3 controller system because I am better with controlling the controller with my only hand rather than Wii which uses the motion sense system which I am not very good at.

In aspects of their online capabilities, I like PS3 better because PS3 comes with Play Station Network which is free. So, I don’t have to pay much to download many types of things such as movies, games and other things. Compared to Nintendo Wii, which provides network but it can only be accessed by complicated series of digits and letters. Moreover, it provides networking only to download games that were from previous versions of the consoles such as Nintendo 64, Super Nintendo, Super Genesis, and Sega Master System.
