The Customer and the Campaign

One of the initial steps in creating a successful marketing campaign is to figure out how to correspond to the target markets with communication and promotional tactics. There are many means of communication available which can help to promote your marketing campaign.

To determine our target market, there were a few things we had to initially think about. First, we had to consider what our company was going to promote, and how our product would stand out from the competition. Following that decision, we then decided on our primary target market. Finally, we asked ourselves “Why should someone purchase our product? “

Although your company may attract a wide variety of diverse customers, you must understand that your product is N0T going to be of interest to everyone. That is why you pin point your target market. After your primary market is acknowledged, your campaign must tie in with that focal point. And, you have to remember that if your campaign ads do not focus on the wants and needs of your prospective customers, it will not be a success. Therefore, you must thoroughly search around and gather as much information about your target audience as possible.

My company’s target audiences are young adults who already own cell phones and those of them who have the technical ability to operate the Internet. The young adult’s of today are a lot more poised and sensible than they use to be, with such an intense feeling of independence. Every young adult or teen wants and needs to have a cell phone, for whatever reason. I know for a fact, it gives them feeling of self-sufficiency. The internet and cell phones are not only a luxury, but they have in fact become a necessity. Young adults love to make their own decisions when it comes to using these new technologies.
