1. List all of the components of two of your meals.

Meal #1 - Breakfast

Today for breakfast I had a bowl of hot cooked oatmeal, with a teaspoon of Land-O-Lakes whipped margarine and an 8 ounce glass of Minute Maid, no-pulp orange juice. This is has been my normal morning breakfast for several years and each of the components of this meal has been purchased from three different retailers in the area in which I live.

Meal #2 - Dinner

Dinner this evening consisted of a grilled pre-formed hamburger, a hamburger bun buttered with mayonnaise, lettuce, a slice of tomato, sautéed onions, a slice of cheddar cheese, with a side dish of homemade baked potato fries.

Meal #1 - Breakfast

The origin of the rolled oats is not listed on the packaging by the packager for Wal-Mart, but it contains, according to the container, 100% natural rolled oats and is distributed by Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. , Bentonville, AR., so it must be assumed that the sole ingredient, rolled oats, must have been grown and came from farms here in the United States.

The margarine which is sold under the Land-O-Lakes brand name is produced in Arden Hills, MN and contains soybean oil, buttermilk, cottonseed oil, as well as natural and artificial flavorings, again, as the container does not specify where, if any, the ingredients came from we must assume that the product is composed of components grown, produced and/or manufactures here in the United States.

The orange juice which is produced by the Coca Cola Bottling Co. of Atlanta, GA and is made from 100% pure orange concentrate from oranges grown here in the United States, Brazil and Costa Rica, and all the components of this meal is the only product that lists...
