What is the one skill that everybody uses but only a few have mastered? Give up, its computer skills. We all need computer skills because technology is changing every day. I chose this skill because everything is based around computers these days, and mastering this skill can open many doors of opportunity for anyone. I think that computer skills are one of the most important skills one can have today. What if you get a job that may require you to upload and transfer information quickly by using different programs? Computers are wonderful things these days they can store tons of information and all kinds of important documents.
Take a couple of minutes to look around, and see how many things are computerized. Sometimes people take some of these things for granted. Like for instance, a digital camera. I believe you can take pictures on it, and then download them on the computer. Wouldn’t you have to have some kind of computer knowledge to do this?
There are a lot of basic operations to know: Starting a computer may be a very tricky thing to one who has never seen one. Using the mouse, managing various windows, alternating between the use of keyboard and mouse, minimizing windows, opening and closing files, etc can be daunting tasks for the uninitiated ones. In order to learn to use computers, as with any machine, one needs to acclimatize himself/herself first. First and foremost one should familiarize himself/herself with the parts and functions of the computer - in a similar manner you learn about the functioning of your washing machine or DVD player or dishwasher.
